Regular regional collections also occured in Victoria and New South Wales with over 17 tonne of chemicals collected and disposed of appropriately.

Lisa Nixon, Program Manager said, "Achieving two state collections and over 8 Regional Collections in the first half of the financial year is huge.  We have scheduled a state collection for NSW in May and hope to undertake further regional collections across Victoria in the first half of 2010.  Armed with the great results of last year the ChemClear team are looking forward to significantly adding to the 205 tonnes of agvet chemicals already retrieved and disposed of from communities".
